Music IS definitely a form of magic, I've known that for a long time and have the tattoo to prove it.

"Oh, darlin', don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up, it could stay this simple."

Growing up is highly overrated, you must keep the "kid" inside you alive, cuz life is more fun that way.

Great writing as usual Laur.

Thank you so much. I'm always working to try and keep some Peter Pan dust around!

I'm kinda partial towards Tink, she's a little more mischievious.

this is exactly how I felt watching the movie. I “meet” Taylor when I was 15 and now I’m 32. My girlhood to adulthood flashed before me.

Exactly! Thanks so much for sharing Jam. I enjoyed your review of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, I've put it to the top of my reading list. xx

Love this--We had similar experiences watching the film about how her work ends up being about how we feel toward ourselves, all of the different parts and versions. I wrote about the same thing this last Monday (albeit with a therapy tie-in). Nice to know I’m not alone in being swept away on a full blown existential experience.

Damn, I love your article Kaitlyn! Thanks for directing me there. I'm also feeling the Reputation Era vibes lately. "The whole damn cake is what she brings out in us" - heck yes! Have a great weekend, xx

What a great piece!!! I am a Taylor fan because of the music but also because she is so brilliant. I especially love how she shares her success with her team members and food banks everywhere. Love you Lauren!!

This recap is so beautiful -- I got absolute chills when you wrote about everyone staying in their seats at the end. How are you enjoying 1989 TV? Happy Friday and happy Vancouver Eras dates announcement day!! xx

Thank you so much Aoife - that's very kind. I love the 1989 TV! At first, I was missing her young voice, like with the Speak Now album. But now I'm embracing the new versions! How about you? Awww yes, happy Friday! I saw all the Vancouver dates, oh my! I won't be able to attend, but sure wish I could. xx

Ooh, that’s so interesting with what you said about her voice. Have you listened to the Every Single Album pod where they talk about how her voice has matured? Their perspectives on how it affects the re-recordings beyond just the sound is fascinating. You might like!

I am really enjoying 1989 TV. I think as a collection these vaults are my favourites and I’m deeply intrigued in the behind-the-scenes of how Midnights fits in with both the 1989 and Speak Now TVs. I feel like I can hear more of these two albums vaults’ in Midnights?

Aw, I’m so sorry you won’t get to see her in VC. I’m hoping to get tickets for Poland 🤞. Here’s to you catching a show next year xx
