I’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger on a Left on Friday suit. I have Ds so I appreciate that recommendation!

I keep a supergoop glow stick spf on my desk for those spontaneous walks and it’s so easy to apply (and without a mirror!)

I love the idea of speaking a different language on each floor of your home! My fiancé is French and we live in France, but we spend most of our time speaking English together. Maybe we can divide our single-story apartment into French vs. English zones? The kitchen and bedroom sound perfect for the French part. 😂

Hi Lauren, I am also loving the cherry blossoms right now, they are one of the best things about Victoria. I am glad you mentioned the pottery show because I've had that in my queue for awhile and have taken some pottery classes and I enjoyed them a lot, thus I think I'd like the show.

I speak pretty good Spanish and it gets easier to snap into Spanish-speaking Sonya every time I travel and can use those skills. It is something I work on a little bit every day. I would like to learn Italian too! Do you use Duolingo for Italian or have you ever heard of italki? I used to have a Spanish conversation partner on italki and found it helpful.

Have a lovely Easter!

Hi Lauren! Another fun post! Plus - the cherry blossoms are lovely - I had no idea! AND - my son and daughter-in-law are in Victoria right now for their "Baby-moon." (Last trip before our grandchild is born in May.) I just texted them and got a photo back of her with her very pregnant belly and some cherry trees in the background! So very cool! Enjoy your week off. I might do the same!

Are you serious with those cherry blossoms? 🍒 🌸 That is unreal to me. I’ve never seen anything like that in person. So I’m guessing this means I should visit in March.

Love that you’re taking a week off and love this roundup as always. Such a good mix of all the things and pictures. Well done! 🧡🧡

Ah! Thanks for the reminder about the Great Pottery Throw Down! I didn't realize there was a Canadian version. My husband and I stumbled upon the BBC show on YouTube a few years back and it really is so wholesome. The Art Thief has been on my TBR for some time but I haven't heard many people talk about it. I was an Art History major so it feels a little niche. I watched Irish Wish and All of Us Strangers this week so Poor Things will be next! I don't speak French very well but I do read it and have decent listening comprehension when we're in Canada with my husband's family. Something about my slightly Southern accent isn't compatible with French pronunciation. Easter plans? All the dinner fixin's!
